How change font?

Great but bugs

Great there should be more apps like this that are free but when I open my 25 page book it crashes what up with that???,!!! From a concerned tree hugger

Major Bugs

The app was amazing until itd quit when I clicked a page with a number past 20. But I put up with it and used the next page button until I got to my spot. But now it wont let me even open the book!!!!! This is awful because Im training to be an author and this is the only place I have this novel written. Fix this bug soon or Ill keep rating 1 star till your wonderful rating is terrible. MWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! But seriously, fix this. My entire future is in jeopardy.

Great but It has bugs and lots of them

I love the app. But now when I click on the app main page comes up then goes back to the page with all my apps. I need it fixed soon because Im going on a trip soon and dont have wifi all the time. Thanks.

StoryKit

StoryKit is a great app with lots of ways to create your own story. However, I recently discovered that there is a crash on the app that activates whenever I try to edit my books. I hope it is updated.

Good, but...

Its really useful for writing stories, as it is suppose to be. It has some cool features, and works well. Although, when you have 20+ pages, when you try and add more, it just simply crashes to the point where you cant even edit it anymore. PLEASE fix!

Favourite

This is my favourite app because writing stories is one of my favourite things to do

Still good fixed but

So the app works now but last time I used it I was on I pod but now i have an I phone 6s and the screen is too small fix this plz

Hear me out, please read this...

Whoever makes this Story Kit app, please hear me out. Ive used this app for about 3 years and I absolutely love it. But I got a new iPad thats much bigger and it has higher qualities so that my stories could become new and improved. But theres just a huge problem thats preventing me from easily flowing through creating my stories enjoyably. Whenever I would choose the option of using my photos, the photos dont appear. I found this very disappointing and I thought, Is there any way I can create my story without having to stare at my options that arent there? I know that sounds ironic, but I ask you nicely: If you want a five-star rating, please fix this issue, and try to find a way to make someones photos show up. Im trying to describe it the best I can, but Im just afraid Ill be ignored. Overall, has been the best app to use to create your own story. Once again, I ask you nicely, please acknowledge this crucial feedback and fix that error. Please take this message as an encouragement rather than a discouragement. I know you can solve this problem and provide a much smoother story-making experience. Thank you.

Pros and cons

Lets start with the pros. Its a great app!! I can make stories and Draw and its so fun its one of my favorite apps and there really isnt another app thats better than this to make stories. The other ones just arent good quality. Now, the cons. Whenever I go to safari to get pictures on my iPad for my story and double click the home button to get back to The app, the app freezes. Even if, say I got my picture and i click the home button and went back to the app, it freezes and I have to double click and swipe the app up. Its annoying. Please make a bug fix on that. The next thing is that when I have a picture and Im drawing on it and I make a mistake or I want to erase comes out as white. You should add an eraser. The last thing is, add fonts and stuff. Like for the titles on the cover page especially, I want the titles big!! Please help me with these things. Thank you for listening.

Very Good

I adore this. I recommend this app. It is great for children - really, it brings out creativity in the user. And free? It is certainly worth a dollar. But I have no problem with the free version ;) it encourages kids to really express theirselves through a drawing, a photograph, a voice recording, or text. It makes you feel really professional.

Pretty good…

I LOVE this app!!!  It gives me access to story-writing whenever I want to. I cant believe it was free and I definitely would have paid .99. My only problem with this app is the occasional crashing. However, I do wish you could turn the screen to landscape, it would be easier to type. Overall this is a pretty good app!

Free!

I cant believe this app is free. I teach K and my kids love this app. It lends itself well for differentiating within my classroom. Students are able to take pictures, type text, record their voices, and draw pictures/write words. Weve created many books using this app. Love it and highly recommend it.

Love this app!

My 4 year old loves creating her own storybook! She takes the pictures by herself and tells me what to type verbatim. The only "issue" we are having is that it doesnt Share the book link on Facebook when I use the app to do it. I circumvent it by emailing it to myself and posting it that way. Great app with a slight glitch. :)

A must have!

This is the killer app that got me started using iPods and then iPads in school with my students. There are so many ways you can use this app! It is simple enough for most first graders to catch on to using quickly and be fairly independent using it. You can use the drawing tools in the app to illustrate your story, use photos, or scanned images that youve added to the iPod/iPad. Although you cant change the font size, type, or color this CAN be an advantage - Ive seen kids waste vast amounts of time tweaking fonts instead of getting on with writing when theyre using a computer. With this, they just get on with the primary task of writing! I LOVE that kids can record themselves - especially good for language learners or kids who need to practice their reading fluency. Ive taken advantage of this two ways - have kids tell a story and then use their recording to type up the story, or have kids write the story first and then read it aloud. (Make sure the written story is on paper if you do this as the text is hidden by the recording window.) Last year I had one student finally clue in to the fact that her reading was not very fluent when she listened to herself reading her own story. She said "I sound jumpy!" If I had asked her to reread and reread till she sounded fluent, she would have rebelled, but because SHE noticed she didnt sound fluent, she re-recorded and re-recorded of her own accord until it sounded right! The kids love that the final product is available on the web to share with their families. Im did have minor issues with it crashing after the latest iOS upgrade, but am hoping the 1.1 update will have completely fixed that problem.

Super cool activity for any age

This is very versatile! Could be applied with any age student. Make the books as complicated or simple as you want. Highly recommended!
