Ive used this app twice in class on the schools iPads, and it is AWESOME! So now I am getting it on my phone. :)

Id love to be able to see the text from the page while the recording window is active. When a child wants to record audio for a story they read it is hard for them to remember the exact words they wrote unless they have it in front of them. That would make the app more useful for reading fluency practice, too! Otherwise, we love using StoryKit!

This app is great for speech therapy. I use this app a lot for direction sequences for art projects. Some students make the directions and other groups follow them. I also find that students forget what they write when they need to record. Is there a way they can record while they read off from their page? That would be super helpful.

This app is fantastic, but it closes me out randomly. :(

Me and my BFF have a story on here that we add to any time we are together!! I absolutely love this app! I also do random stories when I get bored and dont know what to do! Any one thinking of getting this app definitely should!!!!!!

I love suing this app with my high school ESL students. It works great for language development. I have found a couple of glitches: it would be great if students could select text size and color. I would also love if students didnt have to exit the text to be able to record themselves. I would love to buy this app for the 30 iPads I have in my class if there was an iPad version. Another feature that would make this app better is if my ESL students could select text and translate it!!!!!!!!!!

Every time I open the app, it asks me if I wanna pay $3 for some books. When I say no (cuz I dont wanna buy it) it closes automatically. Please fix this in an update!

I really love how you can draw and add photos

My 30 second grade students love using this app on their iPads. It’s very intuitive and easy to learn. The problem is the recording feature. It fails to work on at least 8-10 of our devices. This is frustrating as kids love to listen to one another’s stories during shared reading. They also like to reflect their stories onto the SmartBoard; it’s not the same without audio. At first I thought it may be an iPad issue, but its internal microphone works for everything else. I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app to no avail.

I loved this app, I used it for all my stories I wrote and it was the best literature creating app out there. :) But after the big ios7 update this app was never updated! I bought a new iPhone recently and now there is black along the top and bottom of the screen because it hasnt been updated. You are still using the old keyboard as well. I would kindly appreciate if you could update the app for the new iPhone system. :)

Great app. I love it, and it doesnt crash for me. It is the story app Ive been looking for!

This app needs to be updated!!!! It deleted all of my work and it asks so stupid!!!!

Its so easy to use! I can finally write a good book and send it to friends.

You get to write your very own story it may get a little complicated at first but it is one of my favorite apps of all you can even draw on your writing how awsome is that once u get it u will love it!!!!!!!!!!

Simply amazing. I love the way you can create your own book. You could write your own story and add your own pictures this is one of the best writing apps ever. It would also help in language arts a lot. This is a good app

This is a great and fun app.everything that you want is in one app.The thing I dont like about this app is confusing and it takes a long time to share with someone.

This is an excellent app. Its perfect for creating and reading books that you made. When you start out, it gives you the choice to read 4 different classic books to give you am idea on how the app works and what you can do on it, you can choose to read, edit or share, so if you dont like one part in the book, you can edit it! Want to create your own book? Well, this app is the perfect start. First you pick a title, then you can make your own design your own photo for the page and then you write! This app is so easy to understand and get the hang of. I love this app and it is a great way to spend your time making books. Its so exciting to make your own books. The only thing that I would change is that the app could use a little bit of an upgrade and it is a little slow. That does not change my opinion on the app though, I still highly recommend this app.

This app was an awful app. Their books for kindergarteners and 1st graders and it was kind of disappointing. This would be a good app for little kids and they would like the stories, but for older kids its not for them.

This app is amazing. I love how it starts you out with four classic fairytale books. Also this is good if you dont like something in the book you can edit it and add your own story elements that could make it better. Its good because it gives you an idea of what you actually do in the app. This is a good way of learning how to write your own books which is a great tool for language arts so you have an ideal of how your stories should be and what to have in them! The only thing I would change is I would update the app a little more and it can be delayed at times. Although it does not affect my opinion of the app being awesome.
